I am so thankful to the School Board for their current support of art education in our public schools and also the School Board members of the past who supported the creation of the art education programs that were created by my father, Cultural Arts Coordinator Charles Cassar. I am a product of the programs that were created by my father, and I now have the privilege to continue in the legacy began, created and continued by my family. It is my privilege to serve the community of St. Bernard Parish in this way, and it is my hope to share with other districts across our state and nation the power of art education.
